This feature allows you to easily import an MS Word file into an eBook learning activity within LearnWorlds. It brings value by streamlining the content creation process, enabling you to repurpose existing materials and enhance your course offerings efficiently.
In this article, we will learn how to import an MS Word file into an eBook learning activity.
To import an MS Word file, go to the Course outline page of the desired course and create an Ebook, or locate the Ebook learning activity you want to update. Click on Edit Ebook.
1. If your Ebook activity is empty and you enter its authoring environment, click on Import Word document.
2. Alternatively, you can access the Import setting by hovering over Import → Import MS Word at the authoring bar of your Ebook.
A pop-up window will appear, allowing you to select the desired file. You have the flexibility to choose whether to preserve the file format and decide whether to add any accompanying images to the image library.
- Ensure not to include overly formatted Word documents to prevent any potential problems with your created Ebook.- Use the editor to enhance your eBook with multimedia elements to make it more engaging.
