Vimeo is a simple video provider tool for any professional, team, and organization to create, manage, and share high-quality videos. You can embed your videos on your own LearnWorlds school to increase engagement, and showcase them with powerful SEO tools.
If you do not have a Vimeo account, you can create one here.
1. To connect your Vimeo account, navigate from your school to Settings → Video → Provider.
2. By selecting Vimeo, a Connect your account button will appear.
3. Once clicked, you will be redirected to your Vimeo account, and by selecting Allow you authorize the Vimeo connection. You will be prompted to log in in order to authorize (If you were already logged in to your Vimeo account, the login form will not be displayed).
Once you have connected your Vimeo account with your school, you can navigate to the Video library of a course and upload your videos, and then create a video learning activity for your courses.
Note: If you upload videos in your Video Library, they will be automatically uploaded in Vimeo as well. It is essential to configure your Vimeo account settings in order for your videos to play in your courses.
Otherwise, you can connect any Vimeo video to your courses and pages by pasting the Vimeo ID found on the video’s address bar.
Note: If you proceed with connecting a Vimeo Account in your school, the LearnWorlds 1GB size limit does not exist. However, in the case of a Vimeo Pro account, other limits apply that are imposed by Vimeo and not by us. In case you surpass that limit, Vimeo will not allow you to upload any other videos. You should check what restrictions apply on Vimeo's side.
